The effect of cream with lactobionic and hyaluronic acid on the transepidermal water loss

With years, the skin losses its moisture, thus becomes less flexible and collagen and elastin fibers go relaxed. Some substances incorporated in cosmetics are applied into regulate skin moisture by restricting transepidelmal water loss. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the changes in the transepidelmal water loss in the course of applying a cream with lactobionic acid and hyaluronic acid. Dermocosmetics containing lactobionic acid and hyaluronic acids reduce the transepidermal water loss. The effect increases with time.
